Description

We are looking for a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations with a specialized focus on the textile industry. This role requires expertise in taxation, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting to ensure smooth and efficient financial management. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of tax laws, and the ability to handle complex financial tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management:

    Prepare, review, and finalize accurate financial statements.
    Ensure proper financial reporting and record-keeping.

Tax & Compliance:

    Manage and oversee the filing of monthly Sales Tax returns, quarterly Withholding Statements, and annual Income Tax submissions.
    Keep up to date with the latest Sales Tax and Income Tax regulations to ensure full compliance.

Regulatory & Audit Support:

    Ensure adherence to all applicable tax laws, particularly those governing the textile sector.
    Serve as the primary liaison for tax-related matters and audits.
    Handle tax filings and submissions through the IRIS portal.

Financial Reporting:

    Assist in preparing financial reports, balance sheets, and other relevant documents.
    Provide support during audits and collaborate with tax authorities when needed.

Who We’re Looking For Qualifications:

    ACMA, M.Com, or B.Com from an accredited institution.

Experience:

    Minimum years of experience in Accounting and Taxation.

Technical Expertise:

    Proficiency in the IRIS tax portal for submissions and filings.
    Strong command of Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, and financial statement finalization.
    Advanced skills in accounting software and MS Excel.

Industry Knowledge & Skills:

    Deep understanding of tax regulations in the textile industry.
    Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
