Description

We are seeking a junior Database Administrator (DBA) with - years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database management, performance monitoring, and backup strategies. This role requires a strong foundation in SQL Server administration and a keen interest in optimizing database performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server databases (on-premises and cloud-based).

Monitor database performance and troubleshoot query optimization and indexing issues.

Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

Manage user roles, permissions, and database security.

Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning activities.

Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

Work with developers to improve database structure and performance.

Maintain database documentation and best practices.

Requirements:

- years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server ( , , or later).

Experience with database backups, restores, and high availability configurations.

Understanding of query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with SQL Server security, roles, and permissions.

Basic experience with SQL Server Agent, SSIS, and reporting tools.

Knowledge of cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
