POSITION CODE: HRD-PC/TD-

REPORTING TO: Regional Coordinator
DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Maternal & Child Health
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time Regular (Open-ended)
NUMBER OF POSITION(S):
LOCATION: Karachi (East, West, Central), Hyderabad, Sujwala, Jacobabad & Kambar.

JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will contributes to the program planning, administration, implementation, monitoring and the evaluation of program/project activities, including teamwork and capacity building under the close supervision of the Regional Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support, supervise and monitor field activities of the field teams.
  • Coordinate, support, supervise, and monitor the field teams in solving field-related issues.
  • Assess the training needs of the field teams. You will also be expected to assist Supervisors in providing training on vaccination mobile applications and support/facilitate, as/when required.
  • Conduct investigations and report back to your Supervisor.
  • Conduct field visits to immunization sites at least twice a week, in line with a pre-approved work plan by the Supervisor.
  • Randomly verify % of the calls made by the field team by interviewing the caregivers monthly to check for any discrepancy in District Field Reports.
  • Follow-up on open ticket investigations based on complaint center and phone verification survey data.
  • Generate bi-weekly reports with the Program Associate and submit them to the supervisors, and the project team, summarizing dashboard data and qualitative feedback from districts teams and activities.
  • Peruse all material generated by the field team during their field visits (including reports, photographs).
  • Participate in the referral chain process for the project and increase the number of clients to get vaccinated on time.
  • Actively participate in district government meetings regarding Immunizations/Polio and liaise with the District Health Administration.
  • Supervise Town Filed Coordinators and provide the necessary support as/when required.
  • Prepare daily field reports and share them with your Manager for monitoring purposes.
  • Notify your manager and take corrective action whenever irregularities are suspected or detected.
  • Maintain regular stock of all project-related equipment provided by IRD.
  • Coordinate with the District Health Department and vaccination personnel for project-related activities.
  • GSM tracking will be used to monitor DIO activities and verify that the reported visits actually took place (The regional Coordinator will verify the GPS coordinates).
  • Comply with the organization’s policies and practices.
  • Maintain moral and ethical conduct.
  • Ability to travel (up to %).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

Required Qualification

Masters in social sciences or any other relevant subject.

Required Experience
Experience of at least - years working in the public health sector/EPI or knowledge of the same will be strongly preferred.

Required Skills
  • Computer Literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory.
  • Preferred to have your own transportation for field visits.
  • Fluency in English/Urdu/Sindhi (oral and written) will strongly be preferred.
