Description

Careerokay.com is looking for an Account Officer for its client (Textile Mill) located in Gujranwala. The job description is as follows
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
Report on budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and incorporate them into the financial reporting process.
Monitor and control expenses to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
Identify opportunities for cost savings.
Coordinate with the HR department for accurate payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations.
