Description

Key Responsibilities:**

. **Programme Development and Management:

- Design, implement, and manage tech education programs tailored to the needs of women in rural areas.

- Ensure the curriculum is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all educational programs.

. **Community Engagement and Outreach:**

- Develop and maintain relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to promote the organization’s mission.

- Organize and conduct community meetings, workshops, and events to raise awareness and encourage participation.

- Act as the primary point of contact for participants and community members.

. **Team Leadership and Development:**

- Recruit, train, and manage a team of educators, volunteers, and support staff.

- Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the team. - Foster a positive and inclusive working environment.

. **Monitoring and Evaluation:

- Develop and implement a system for tracking the progress and impact of programs.

- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives.

- Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team and stakeholders.

. **Fundraising and Resource Management:** - Assist in identifying funding opportunities and writing grant proposals.

- Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.

- Develop and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors.

. **Strategic Planning:**

- Contribute to the strategic planning process to align programs with the organization’s mission and goals.

- Identify opportunities for program expansion and innovation.

- Stay informed about trends and best practices in tech education and nonprofit management.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

- Minimum of - years of experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or educational setting.

- Strong understanding of the tech industry and digital skills education.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Experience working with rural communities and understanding of their unique challenges.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

- Passionate about gender equality and empowering women through education.
